Dear Mom & Dad,

Maybe you didn't expect to hear from me quite so soon, but I just have to write and let you know a little change again. After meeting the other fellow we are going with, and talking with Bishop Reynolds again, we have decided to leave Tuesday morning at 10:05 A.M. on the Challenger. (We have our tickets made out for that time) Ray is writing his folks about the change now. The only difference is that we leave Tues. instead of Wed. Be sure to let Vern know & Barbara (Then I won't write to her), and don't fail to come. Bring everyone that will come (I didn't get a good chance to say "goodbye"). Be here if possible by 8:00 or 9:00 A.M. then that will give us a little more time.

Last nite (or this morning) seems all jumbled up because of the big rush the last minute. I felt pretty "tough" for about three minutes and then I was happy again and glad to be on my way. We arrived here at 1:05 A.M. took a taxi to the home and Pres. Sessions showed us to our room. We just got up, about two or three hours ago. It is now 11:00. All in all we had about six hours sleep.

I guess tomorrow we will go see Aunt Effie for awhile. I haven't seen Owen yet. It is raining out now so after it clears up we will go down.

I guess that is all there is to tell now. Don't mind the scribbling 'cause I am hurrying and also just writing on a little dinky end table.

See you Tuesday,

Love, Dean

The other fellow has friends in L.A. that he is going to stay with.
